My Mommy Mart open this weekend.

"My Mommy Mart returns to the Jr. Fair Building at the Washington Co. Fairgrounds during the week of September 23. The upscale children’s consignment event features over 22,000 gently used items such as children’s clothing, toys, books, shoes, baby gear, bedding and more for newborn through size 16; as well as maternity clothing and related items. "

A special $9 “Sneak Peek” pre-sale will be held on Thursday, September 27 at 5:00 p.m. Profit from “Sneak Peek” ticket sales will go to local women & children’s charities.

The event opens to the public at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 28 and goes through Sunday, September 30.

LOWES Build and Grow

LOWES build and Grow is making a firetruck this week.  (September 22 at 10:00)This is a repeat of one they made last year and is to this day one of my son's favorite things he has  built.  Workshop is free but they do suggest you pre-register here and I would suggest these projects for ages 3-9 although younger and older kids are often at the workshops.
