The pools in Parkersburg City Park (diving board) and Southwood Park (lap lanes and hillside waterslide) will open on June 9.
Hours- 12:00 noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Cost-$3.50 for children ages 4-years-old to 12-years-old and $4 for 13-years-old and up
Season Passes- $35 per person for the pool and $45 for the pool and slide (southwood park only) and $115 per family (pool only) and $135 for the pool and slide (southwood park only)
I think it is COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS that the Parkersburg pools weren't open on Memorial Day weekend! I have lived here my WHOLE life (22 yrs) and have NEVER seen the pool closed that weekend, except for this year and last. That's just bad for business!! Not only that, but what is with the price jump?? I'd rather swim in the river than pay that much to be around a bunch of unsupervised children running amuck! Somethings gotta give guys!!!

ReplyDeleteYes, the info on this website is what I have gathered for the 2012 summer season. Still trying to find complete info for each pool but if it's listed it's accurate as far as I have been told.
