Summer Reading in Wood County

Summer time is a great time for developing a reading habit with your children.  Libraries often have great programs to help reward you and your children for your reading.  Here are some of the ones in Wood County.

Wood County Library Emerson Ave. location-One World, Many Stories

• program runs from June 22-Aug 17 for ages 3-16
• chart books read and receive prizes and awards for reading
• join the Reading is fundamental program for free book giveaways
• children must pre-register at the library to participate
• story hour programs every Thursday evening at 7:00pm for ages 3-10

Vienna Public Library-One World, Many Stories

• program runs from June-Aug 9 for all ages through adult
• chart books read and receive prizes and awards for reading
• all ages must pre-register at the library and pick up reading forms
