Wheeling, WV is again hosting it's Winter Festival of Lights
November 11, 2011 - January 8, 2012
Sunday through Thursday until 10:00 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday until 11:00 p.m

This light display has been recognized as one of the 10 best light displays in the US and it's less than 2 hours from us here in Parkersburg. The light display is technically free but a donation is STRONGLY recommended (like, last year they had a person stop each car and ask for donations before you could pass them . . . probably should have $5 or so on hand)
