Marietta College Planetarium will again be hosting the popular holiday program "Season of Light." which traces the history and development of numerous holiday traditions. Program will also include a astronomical explination for the Christmas Star. This program will be accompanied by a live star talk focused on the late December sky. (Season of Light was created by Loch Ness Productions.)
You should call ahead or e-mail to reserve a seat. The program is free but they will accept donations at the end of the show. Admission without reservations will be first come first served.
Thank you for sharing this! I just found your blog last night and I will be a regular follower from now on! :-)
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I just moved to the area from northwestern PA and we bought a house but money is tight and that's why this event is so awesome, a cheap thing to do while exploring our new community! :-)
I emailed the college last night and got confirmation of my seat reservations emailed back to me this morning! :-)
So glad to hear you got a seat . . . I'm sure you will enjoy it. I'll try and keep the "free" or cheap events coming. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks! :-)
ReplyDeleteWe really enjoyed this event! :-) Marietta College has such a nice facility too! They said that they are planning more shows in the new year, so I can't wait! :-) Thanks again for sharing!
