Halloween Coupon Books are back at McDonalds

For $1 you can buy one of these coupon books from McDonalds right now. I have confirmed that they are on sale at the McDonalds in Walmart in Marietta. They may not be at every location. They have three of each of the coupons shown for a total of 12 coupons. If you are a frequent McD visitor with your kids or if you know some kids who would be then this is a nice little gift to have on hand. Or, make your house the place to be on trick or treat night and hand these out. At $1 for 12 it's a GREAT deal to have on hand for those quick drive through nights.  I plan to use the apples and juice boxes as lunch box fillers!

Ravenswood Octoberfest

Ravenswood Octoberfest is THIS WEEKEND (October 6-7) at Riverfront Park.  Complete listing of events can be found here but with corn hole, inflatables, haunted house, petting zoo, duck pond, pet costume contest and a bake sale there will be something for everyone.

Note that there will be FIREWORKS on Saturday night at 9:30pm.

Home Depot Kids Workshop

Home Depot this week will be making a firetruck at their free kids build (October 6 9:00-12:00).  Build is designed for kids ages 5-10 but there are often kids both older and younger there.  Home Depot builds often include paintbrushes and all colors of paint to decorate your projects. . . my son's personal favorite part!!

Star Family Circus Returns to Marietta

Star Family Circus returns to Marietta next week!  I have never attended this event but have had friends go and they have been impressed with the quality of this little circus.  It's no big top performance, but for what you pay it's a fun family evening I am told.

Library Halloween Parties

(the book has nothing to do with these events . . . just thought it fit perfectly and needed a photo on this post.)  You can buy it here if you are interested.  I have never read it.

Vienna Library- Ages 3-5 at 10:30am on Tuesday, October 30.  Wear your costume and bring treats to share.  No need to pre-register.

Washington County/Marietta library-- Ages 3 - 5 at 10:30 am on Sat. Oct 13. Ages 6-12 at 1:30pm.  Wear your costume and come to the meeting room for games, crafts and snacks.  Call 373-1057 ext. 219 to register (limited spaces).  The Marietta Library is located at 615 Fifth Street.
